Ruth,

I would like to suggest you two books I find most interesting: Common
Knowledge (Nancy Dixon) and The Knowledge Management Fieldbook (Bukowitcz
et al.).

The reason why I like these books so much is because of their practical
approach. Both books not only provide ideas as they also illustrate them
referring real case situations of companies using them.

The first book talks about different types of knowledge transfer pointing
out ways to enhance the process (find a review at
http://www.kmol.online.pt/livros/dix00/dix00_p.html). The second goes over
the different steps in the knowledge life, helping the reader to spot the
critical points in his/her organization and where he/she should focus
first.

Good luck.
Ana Neves
