Greetings dear Mark,

Thank you for your contribution. Your sentence above reminds me of the
following.

In the years around 1990 when our country was beginning to dismantle
apartheid while fear and enxiety was great in the hearts of many, the
favourate "court jester" among my own Afrikaner people, wrote a song
called "Swem, Jannie, swem." (Swim, Johnny, swim.) It became immediately
a facourate for many moons because it articulated the willingness to swim
against all odds and so make an epic journey.

It is a pity that CEOs of big corporations do not appoint "court jesters"
like the kings of old to reflect artitistically the spiritual status of
the corporation within a Divine Comedy. These "court jesters" had an
uncanny ability to point out the hot problems in the kingdom with their
divine comedies and the kings knew it. Perhaps the CEOs know it too well
;-) By the way, it is easy with modern IT to reintroduce the art of the
"court jester" -- perhaps as the "corporate jester"?

Rick, how about appointing a LO-jester?

[Host's Note: Hmm... LO-jester? Volunteers are welcome to demonstrate
their skills! .Rick]

With care and best wishes
