Replying to LO27165 --

Sorry Hanching, I was questioning too much, beyond any sensible frame of
reference. This was unthoughtful and disrespectful. May be it was a
reaction on some intimidation that I often feel when I sense the
scholarship which comes from your mails.

Yet I still like the story and I am sure that all of us share the tenet
that our work should follow a deeper purpose than sustaining mere physical
survival, notwithstanding the endless sorrow from the growing discrepancy
between "should" and "is".

I don't know what frightens me more: the more-than-he-can-tell-proudness
of President Bush (must be a god-like feeling?) or people who love (put
their faith on?) their President for 600 $.

>And today's NY Times QUOTE OF THE DAY is "I can't
>tell you how proud I am to be traveling around the country and people say,
>`Thanks for the $600.'" PRESIDENT BUSH

Liebe Gruesse,
Winfried

P.S.
>I am keen on the meaning of "voith" means. Or since you are back from
>holiday, any Letters persanes?

Hugo Voith is the name of the founder of our company some 150 years ago.
Business is mainly heavy mechanical engineering, engineering artistry,
most products are unique. Yet admittedly, we rely heavily on the mass
production of our customers ;-)

I have no idea what "Letters persanes" are?
