Dear Learners,

I am so happy to see many mails coming from LO again. I used to be a
frequent contributor the last few years (quite many years in fact).
Although reading them must have been difficult for you for they often
represented more "mind in action" than communication, the LO clearly was
THE learning environment for me.

Since February this year I have taken over responsibility for a new
learning field. Some of you may remember that two years ago, I was
promoted from my position as manager of marketing of the Retarder* product
group in our company to manager of strategic planning for all the product
groups. This involved additional daily travelling of two and a half hour.
It was a great opportunity to learn a lot about many different businesses,
but often it was also a really lonely position, a one man show. Now I am
back as the general manager of the product group I came from. It is a
great challenge for me for I always used to be more consultant than to
take over the operative responsibility. Now I am in and I have new
possibilities to create in order to learn to create better.

Please don't worry about me. I am fine and very busy learning, also
learning to create a learning organization ;-)

Liebe Gruesse,
Winfried Dressler
