Replying to LO28953 --
I know I tried to question this a while back but I would like to re-ask the
question :
Hypothesis: quality movement succeeded in terms of implementation because
it drew up an open set of maturity profile (performance) standards so that
companies could profile where they were , how to improve, and benchmark in
quite open ways. In other words it provided a 'measurable' framework and
an open movement which engaged all sorts of companies and boardroom
sponsorship.
- Am I correct in thinking that LO community has never done this? If so,
why not? If it has please could somebody give a bookmark to the LO
equivalent of www.nist.gov which is the centre of quality standards
updating/benchmarking
