Hi Ed,

You are the second one within a couple of days I have to disagree with.
The book by Pfeffer is a waste of money. He tries to prove with it that
his former books and theories were right though all what has happened
since they were published prove otherwise (for instance employment
security is essential for hogh performance work systems) and these
companies are successfulle doing so, negeleting all positive ideas on
knowledge management, self directing teams, ,earning org, workers
democracies etc. In this book he has sought after a clue: how can it be
that I was always wrong what was essential for a company to become a
succes and the answer is: the other organizations/companies are even
worse.

I was very disappointed. I always enjoyed his ideas, this one has no
surplus value

>The book: The Human Equation by Jeffrey Pfeffer does a good job of
>elucidating the value of people and learning to organizations.
