Knowledge Management in Education LO29634

Date: 12/02/02

Hi there:

I work for a non-profit, educational research group that examines how K-16
institutions can better leverage information technology and infrastructure
to increase their effectivenss.

On Dec. 12the and 13th, we'll be co-sponsoring the first Knowledge
Management in Education Summit meeting in San Francisco. The theme is,
"Knowledge-Based Drive Toward Accountability, Quality, and Assessment."
We will be featuring KM strategies, practices, and tools from institutions
across the country. The event web site is: http://www.kmcluster.com/

Please join us if you can. We also plan to publish the results from this
Summit meeting. I'd like to know if your membership would be interested
in receiving a free copy (distribution begins in March, 2003). The
publication would be a valuable resource to educators who are interested
in data-driven decision making practices, assessments and accountability,
and information management. To request a copy, they can email me at:
phoenix@iskme.org.

Thanks.
Phoenix
