Val,

Training cycles (I normally call them learning cycles because, for me,
they entail training, education, learning, and teaching) are a part of
organizational learning. Well done training can create communities of
practice which can, in turn, infect the rest of the organization with the
concept of learning to learn.

the tree of humanity. They hang upon the most slender twigs that are easily
snapped off."
