Replying to LO30144 --
Thank Mark's nice journey and "maps" or updating of SEMCO. I really enjoy
it. You know, for the rest of us, chance of buying and reading "Weekend"
is quite low...It is very interesting to see the books on management
become a professional one...
Mark mentioned about one famous story in Chinese history. "...where I
could follow the advice of Chinese Emeperor Hang Jing Di 157 - 141 BC - Do
nothing in order to govern. We all had a great and demanding week and self
management on the whole prevailed...." My knowledge of this period of
history are quite limited. So I decided to check some books on it. My
conclusion is like Alfred Whitehead's comment on Marcus Aurelius's
decision to let his son inherit...
So, I believe Mark can create his own LO without many "learning" from
history or SEMCO if everything is right....I respect all nice stories with
some conservative doubts. Nevertheless, I like to thank Mark again for his
generous sharing.
