Enough LO30181

Dear LO readers,

I have just completed reading a book worthy of your attention:

³Enough: Staying Human in an Engineered Age² Bill McKibben, Times Books,
2003.

McKibben¹s observations, in part, revolve around Moore¹s Law and genetic
research (specifically germ line research) which have the potential to
dehumanize us. Worse, Moore¹s Law can hypothetically lead to an
environment where computers have more power to learn than we do.

Best regards,

Barry
