Replying to LO30608 --

Sabine, good evening:

I just read your posting of September 18th, in which you said:

"I would also suggest that magnanimity and the grace to forgive may not be
the strongest features of "White" cultures with a success pattern that is
based on competition and taking. Maybe we can learn a lot from other
cultures on reconciliation and forgiveness?"

You point is a very important one... I'm sure it spans many relational
problems we face individually and collectively.

Could you elaborate on the other culture's practices you suggest and/or
where one may look to gain that understanding.

Thanks.

Best Regards,

Terry Priebe
