The US Department of Energy (DOE) and the Westinghouse Electric
Corporation (WEC) announce the availability of LEADER-360 to US
organizations at NO COST. This validated paper-and-pencil tool provides
participants with feedback from their superiors, peers, and subordinates
concerning their development needs in 10 leadership areas, including
learning, influence, knowledge, strategy, delegation, and communication.

LEADER-360 consists of a 7-page evaluator's booklet surveying 43
leadership behaviors, and a 14-page administrator's guide, containing
instructions, a scoring key, a calculation worksheet, a feedback summary
sheet, and a reading list. This is a complete, turnkey package which can
be administered without modification. Through the joint DOE and WEC
technology transfer program, corporations, consultants, educational
institutions, non-profit organizations, and government agencies can obtain
non-exclusive intellectual property rights to LEADER-360 at no cost,
allowing them to use the tool for commercial, internal, educational, and
research purposes.

To obtain an application to receive LEADER-360 and non-exclusive
intellectual property rights at no cost, please send and e-mail to me (not
to the list, please!):

Once we receive your application, we will obtain the necessary DOE
approvals and send you an e-mail containing your approved application and
Leader-360 as a self-extracting attachment (Note: we generated Leader-360
in MS-WORD 7.0 for Windows 95. If you are unable to open the document
with your software, simply forward the message to someone in your
organization who has conversion capabilities, such as your system
administrator. Also, nearly every commercial print shop offers conversion
service). We are hoping to have Leader-360 in your hands within one to
two working days of receipt of your completed application.
