I would like to share with you some very positive fallout from Sherri
Malouf's Oriah Mountain Dreamer. I forwarded it to some colleagues on a

I wanted to say, thank you, thank you, thank you, for sending me "The
Invitation", by Oriah Mountain Dreamer. You would not believe how perfect
your timing was.
I was at a crossroads in two major parts or my life.... home and work. My
Husband and I had just returned from another weekend in Colorado after
finding 35 acres of the most beautiful mountain property to buy to build
on in the future. It's long been a dream we've shared. As you know, it's
pretty terrifying to make such a step and I was wavering. After reading
The Invitation, I knew I could "dare to dream of meeting my heart's
longing" and no longer listen to the voices (my own and others) that were
saying, "be careful, be realistic, etc." We put in a bid and it's been
accepted!!!
At the same time, a position has opened in my company for supervisor of my
department. I've been laying pretty low, licking my wounds, not wanting
to get too involved in this company. The treatment I received from my
previous employer really affected me. Well, again, after reading The
Invitation, I decided that I would not "become shriveled and closed from
fear of further pain". I knew that what I really wanted was to "dance
with wildness" again. I submitted my resume today. Stay tuned for
further developments there.
