Joe Hamill askes, Why do we create organizations?

I think the real question is, Why do we want to relate together? If you
replaced the word organization with Community, you access a different
frame of reference. Few would ask why do we create communities? They are
an important part of human life and meet our need for interdependence on
each other. I need your strengths and I also have something to give.

When you access the frame of reference for 'organization' you are really
dealing with a map that doesn't fit and needs to be changed. It is all the
baggage that comes with our understanding of organization that causes
problems. A real systems fit problem.
