The way the organisations - that are basically a small social units
reflecting the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of a
Nation in which they exist - represents the diverse learning capacities
that are available in that Nation. This understanding (members please
correct me if it is wrong) helped me write this message for the LO List.
Members may like to refelect on this.

India is celebrating its 50th year of Independence from the British Rule.
Currently the nation is facing yet another political turmoil. In a period
of 18th months we saw three Prime Ministers. The Politics of Coalition
have reached its peak. I do not know whether we, the Indians, are heading
for a snap poll or going to see the Fourth Prime Minister as a result of
another Coalition Experiment.

We have learnt several lessons in upholding the Democratic Values over a
period of 50 years. We are now seeing the diplorable state of affairs of
our political system wherein forces like curruption, criminalisation, and
all other anti social elements are safely sheltered. I am struggling to
understand how my Nation learns lessons from this. What constitutes its
learning? How powerful its learning would be? I welcome members to think
about it and respond.

With love
