Carol,

I believe your course should include effective system performance
measures. Unless the organization knows how to measure results of the
process used it will wallow around in judgmental evaluation which stifles
learning and communication. Deming companies have been leaders in learning
organizations because they cultivate experimentation and good evaluation
of the performance.
