Fran, thanks for clarifying! My own assumptions were at work there,
perhaps because I've been dealing with this concern recently in my work
(or perhaps simply because my brain wasn't in gear when I wrote).

You are right when you say

Consulting has become its own multi-million dollar industry, and
unfortunately some of the integrity has leaked out of what began as some
good change initiatives.
