Agreed

but

That does not mean that competences (or competancies) don't exist. The
terms competence and competancy are so frequently used. There has to be a
definition. I for one would be prepared to revisit this one. I also have
a feeling that there is as much of a problem with the word *managerial* as
there is with *competency*.

Otherwise I need a term for:

*The getting of difficult things done*
