Replying to LO18632 --

Brock--

your boss lacked integrity. he was dishonest--and he consciously caused
harm to you to save his face. does the word "pussilanimous" seem
appropriate to describe your boss? yes! this isn't an issue of liking
someone. this is an issue of you having principles and your boss lacking
them. the fact that you couldn't (and wouldn't) work for him says a lot
about your integrity. good for you!

now--is it possible to love people without principles, or moral courage?
yes, I think it is. does that mean you should condone what they do? no.
should you continue to work with them? not on your life!

regards,

Doc
