Replying to LO18721 --

Michael Ayers wrote about how he had selected his six most important
values from the Fieldbook and written statements of why each is important
to him.

He said:

"Now (this sounds a little hokey I suppose) I carry the list with me;
when I'm stuck on a decision, I pull out the list, reflect on it a bit,
and then decide what is 'right' given these values."

Michael, I don't think this is the list bit hokey. In fact your message
inspired me to pull my copy of the Fieldbook off the shelf, review the
values that I had selected from the list and begin writing statements as
to why each is important to me. I plan to follow your example and put
list in my wallet, and maybe on my wall as well.
