I'm encouraged to hear someone reference Frankl's "Man's Search for
Meaning". This could also be related to Emotional Intelligence, which
takes reference to man's feelings and emotions and sees them as valuable
in the workplace. At the end of the workday, we must have meaning in our
lives to be effective in the workplace the next day. Frankl had a truly
unique and refreshing perspective on life, which can be transferred to
the workplace. I agree that we should be promoting "meaningful
organizations" to enhance not only productivity and employee retention
rates, but happiness and meaning in general. Good point!
