Great question. But what does "modernistic worldview" mean in your
posting? You appear to have targeted what I feel to be a huge dilemma in
current education practice: the provision of authentic or real learning
(versus) pragmatistic fallicious learning. Is this the meaning you
intended?

We have been pioneering the transplantation of a curriculum for motor
disorders called conductive education (which appears to be extremely
learner-centered) and have received the well-worn comment: "If we do that
for you, all the parents will want something different for their kids."

It seems that the world view insists that we intend to provide the former
(authentic learning); while advocating that everyone must "settle" for the
latter (pragmatism) because of our own funding, legislation or lack of
motivation or creativity. Could you help me?

Thanks and cheers! CS
