[Host's Note: One of our ongoing questions is "Why a Learning
Organization?" ...Rick]

The basic question is why learning organisation?

One answer could be that it taps the energy of teams that would not
necessarily be used.

In essence as Henry Mintzberg's book goes "Once again how do we motivate
people" and this is what I see learning organisations as essentially being
- just another fancy word to motivate staff so that firms have the right
people at the right time with the right skills and right company attitude
towards a group work ethic.
