My Bell System experience taught three questions:

1) What's so?

2) So what?

3) What's next?

Another taxonomy suggests four domains for questions and answers:

Skeptical (subject of objective verification)-Why = Science

Skeptical-How = Technology

Faith (believe without or inspite of subjective data)-Why = Religion

Faith-How = Magic

Complex environments make it difficult, if not impossible, to gain
objective verification of causal relationships. Religious-Magical
thinking must grow to fill the void. Unfortunately, some business
cultures can not acknowledge the extent internal decisions are guided by
the local flavor of Religious-Magical Thinking.
