I haven't read the book you've cited--and I have absolutely no idea what's
being touted in various MBA programs.
I am familiar with Nonaka's work...and would acknowledge him as a KM
expert. I'm not sure what value Drucker brings to KM specifically.
Here are some of the KM-related books on my shelf that I've found
particularly useful:
Corporate Memory, Annie Brooking
The Knowledge Creating Company, Ikujiro Nonaka & Hirotaka Takeuchi
Intellectual Capital, Thomas Stewart
If Only We Knew What We Know, Carla O'Dell & C. Jackson Grayson
Bill Gates newest release (I've not read it, but I've viewed the slides
and read the text of his presentation at the CEO forum held this
spring...which seems to be on the same topic as his book), "Digital
Nervous System" is also (peripherally) about KM.
If you meet some MBA's who are seeking to develop an understanding about
KM, perhaps you can share this list with them.
