If you were going to be born tomorrow -- to any parents in the world --
how would you want the world to be?

Evoco is pleased to announce the launch of the first independent project
in the Human Evolutionary Initiative suite of transformational projects.

As some of you may know, the Human Evolutionary Initiative
http://www.evoco.net/hei is the transformational center of the Evoco.
Designed to be independent cost and action centers, HEI sub-projects come
together around the central theme of "creating a world we all want to live
in." Now it is time to put theory into practice with the HEI Kids!
project! See what we are doing at http://www.hei-kids.org .

Someone wrote that the world belongs to the future; we just hold it in
trust for a while. Through HEI Kids! and CBOR 2000, we hope to empower
children, parents, educators, and youth workers through shared knowledge,
well-crafted "tools", and a place to meet and interact, so that together
we may create a better future through responsible and effective action
today.

HEI Kids! will draw participatory membership from parents, educators,
schools, corporations, social and political activists, change leaders,
cultural and religious centers -- and most importantly, KIDS THE WORLD
OVER! HEI Kids! is a community effort, with development on ALL issues
that affect children -- and of course -- our future. The issues will be
broad, narrow, minor and major. The impact will be local, personal,
societal, global. CBOR 2000 is a community development and action
structure designed to endure, to be reinterpreted in changing times and
changing conditions, and to be equally valid for a magnificent diversity
of cultures and environments.

Heading up HEI Kids! is Lena Rotenberg, educational consultant with 18
years' teaching experience and currently Deputy Chief Assessor for the
International Baccalaureate Organisation's Theory of Knowledge course and
will promote HEI Kids! and CBOR 2000 among an international audience of
educators and progressive children's advocates. Lena also served as
co-moderator of Kidforum's Children's Bill of Rights project in 1996.
Assisting Lena is Katie Hernandez, founder of Evoco and the Human
Evolutionary Initiative, and creator of the HEI Kids! concept.

You are invited to participate by contacting hei-kids@hei-kids.org.
