"Mission" Reality Check LO25303

Hello, Learners.

Over the past few months, some of the postings have explored the degree to
which people feel a sense of mission in their work. So I wanted to alert
everyone to a related survey recently conducted by
MeaningfulWorkplace.com.

It looked into the prevalence of workplace mission statements, goals,
dialogue, quality improvement, and involvement. And it explored the
connection to employee pride, productivity, and retention.

A complete findings report is now available on the Web. You'll find it
at:

Some of the discoveries are a harsh reality check, while others are cause
for celebration. Thought you'd be interested.
