Dear Barry,

I am similarly unqualified to make judgements, and I sense what you are
saying has a 'fit' with something I recall van Gogh writing in a letter to
his family, before he really got 'into painting' as a way to pass his
time;-), he said something like, "-there is something inside me, I don't know
what but greater than I am, -- the capacity to create."
Today I can only add one more thing to this, perhaps more generally
applicable to creativity in humans...it was something very beautiful that
Jung wrote about the shadow aspect, he said that in this was 'gold' and that
human perfection is not possible, so it is that we best follow the paths of
increasing wholeness, integration, which brings completion, completeness and
not perfection is the aim. Something like that. (Tavistock Lecture)

Love,

Andrew
