Dear Org-Learners, At our annual Systems Thinking in Action Conference
each fall, Ginny Wiley's highly rated Introduction to Systems Thinking
session is always packed. Because we feel that organizations need to think
and approach problems systemically now more than ever, we're offering a
special one-day workshop next month: Tackling Stubborn Organizational
Challenges with Systems Thinking: The Basics Waltham, MA, February 11,
2002, 8:30am-5:00pm

In this interactive session, participants will find out why systems
thinking is an essential tool for organizational success. Systems thinking
helps us understand the causes that underlie persistent problems,
recognize the highest leverage points for systemic intervention, formulate
effective short- and long-term strategic plans, and make decisions with
greater clarity and foresight. Attendees will learn and begin to practice
some of the essential language, concepts, and tools of systems thinking,
including behavior over time graphs and causal loop diagrams. Presenter
Ginny Wiley is president of Pegasus Communications as well as publisher of
THE SYSTEMS THINKER Newsletter and an experienced systems thinking
educator. $450 for individual registration; $350 per person for teams of
four or more
