Role of Consultants LO29032

Replying to LO29027 --

I have been in both positions, that of the consultant with the outside
view and that of the customer of the consultant wishing to learn how we
are seen from the outside. I agree that the consultant is not longer
truly a consultant to the organization but a member of it after a long
time sharing it's culture daily. One cannot help but share a culture to
some extent when living within it. After a year in Europe, I hold my
eating utensils differently and remember again to stand when a woman
enters or leaves a room......
