Dear Ross,

In LO29003 you asked, "How about leads for conferences for organizational
learning?"

For the past 11 years, our annual Systems Thinking in Action Conference
has brought together a wide diversity of organizational learning
practitioners and others interested in the link between personal
transformation and large-scale organizational change.

This year's event, "Leading in a Complex World," will be held September
30-October 2, 2002, in San Diego, California. Starting with a dramatic
performance of the leadership challenges faced by the Shackleton Antarctic
expedition, the conference employs leading-edge methodologies and plenary
sessions featuring prominent thought leaders to build and sharpen
attendees^Ò leadership capabilities. Presenters include Joseph Jaworski,
Stephanie Pace Marshall, Juanita Brown, Peter Senge, Daniel H. Kim, and
Otto Scharmer. A special author's night event featuring Meg Wheatley will
focus on exploring the power of conversation to change our world. Also,
participants will have the opportunity to dialogue about "questions that
matter" about leadership using the World Cafe format.

You can learn more about the conference at

www.pegasuscom.com/stapage.html. If you register before August 31, you'll
receive $200 off the standard registration rate.

[Host's Note: I have attended all eleven of these conferences and spoken
at most of them. I think this is a high quality event and I can recommend
it to all. ..Rick]
