My dear LO friends and especially Chris who has the courage to lead by
following...the porpoise is an animal, warm blooded. It shares with us a
way of birth and motherhood;-)...we share a common skeleton...the porpoise
and dolphins are a constant reminder of the versatility of life and its
willingness to pass through strange dimensions of experience. When the
animal rears above the surface and states Three-Two-Three...then the child
greets the wonder of an unknown mystery...not to be probed by any scalpel
but involving the whole nature of mind and its role in the cosmos. His
intelligence is not marked by monuments. he has not turned the tables on
nature...It is difficult for us to visualize another kind of lonely,
almost disembodied intelligence floating in the wavering green fairy land
of the sea. An intelligence comparable to out own...Hidden in sleek
bodies, an elaborate instrument, whose reason is an enigma.
