Hi Gijs,

I would like to share my experience of P-CMM for the last 6 years in
India, particularly in IT companies in Mumbai. Datamatics was one of the
first companies to have adopted this model and I had not only the
privilege of getting trained by non other than Bill Curtis himself, who is
considered to be the father of P-CMM but also implementing PCMM in
Datamatics. I must mention here that the Companies which implemented
these processess have benefitted a lot and infact, all these companies
today are on the top 10 list...Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Patni, Mastek and
Datamatics. Not that these companies were not doing well before, but the
people processess are much more streamlined, the credibility of people
practitioners has gone up, there is transparency and a whole lot of
vibrancy in the environment and the business is growing and not to forget
the employees are charged!!

The people practices are certainly in sync with the business requirements
to larger degree than ever before. Thanks to P-CMM!!
