Greetings dear Doug,
The word "external" in your sentence caught my attention. It made me
wonder why you used it.
It seems that you claim that feedback loops are sufficient for
organisational learning. If that would be the case, it implies for me that
other "internal" criteria would not be needed.
I sometimes wonder what is meant by criterium? It comes from the Greek
word "kriterion" which meant a rule by which to judge behaviour. Do we
really have rules for organisational learning and is it sensible to judge
by them?
