And I agree. The top performers are generally doing some things
differently but the organization cannot perceive them as a general rule.
And I stopped using the term Alan mentioned, "continuous improvement" in
favor of "continuous continuous improvement" to indicate that one cannot
complete a "continuous improvement project," contrary to what many
managers seem to imply.
BTW, the term comes from the department of redundancy department
