We have another instance of a virus that may come in messages that
appear to be "From:" the learning-org list.
Here is the start of one of many copies I've received:
>Date: Tue, 20 Jan 2004 14:53:08 -0500
>From: learning-org@world.std.com
>To: rkarash@karash.com
>Subject: Hi
The different appearance is a clue that this is not, in fact, a
message from the LO list. The attachment is an .exe file which will
create havoc on a Windows machine. For more info on this particular
virus

As you can see from my "sig," I now feel it important to filter for
virus and spam; I recommend that systems admins block all executables
in mail attachments. It's a rough world out there.

p.s. My thanks to Jan Lelie for alerting me to this one.
