Alan,
Would anyone in the group care to discuss PUNISHED BY REWARDS and talk about
their experience in renorming the workplace such that intrinsic motivation
drives high performance and learning. I am not disagreeing but in most of the
places I have been, it would take a vast amount of energy to realign the
systems to create the conditions where intrinsic motivation would work
generally speaking.
I know this is a touchy subject, but I would be interested in hearing from
some in the group.
