Randy,

Quality of Work Life has been widely used, much of it out of the 70s but
I'm sure it was used far before that. You might check out some of the
management and organizational literature out of Europe. Is it Norway, I
believe, who even has a Quality of Work Life part to their constitution
(correct me if I'm wrong on the country)?

This doesn't mean, of course, that it couldn't be registered as a name or
something. But it might be worth your while to check out its history.
QWL, in some sectors, was as popular and 'known' as TQM is today. Might
check into some of the culture literature, as it was used extensively in
conjunction with early workplace culture studies.
