If I never put my opinion forth for perusal by others, how could I
possibly cooperate? What you've described doesn't seem like cooperation,
to me. It's more like abdication, or placating.

By putting forth my own opinion here, which seems somewhat different from
yours, I believe I am cooperating with you. Does that make make sense to
you?
