>Do we know how to GENERATE trust when it doesn't exist?
>Could this be a key to sustaining LOs?
>A key competence in the era of knowledge workers?
Absolutely. If I'm going to share my knowledge with you I need to have
confidence in how you will use it. Furthermore, if we are to have any kind
of meaningful shared vision, we all need to want that vision and believe
it is going to come about. The "belief" bit can't exist without trust.
As to "generating trust." It's a process of helping people recognise how
their current behaviours are limiting their own success (however defined)
and helping them to derive new, mor constructive behaviours which will
lead to their success. If that success can be achieved by helping the
organisation be successful we have shared vision.
