Hi Mitch:

Did you come across the area of Systems Dynamics when you found Systems
thinking?

I stumbled on Systems Dynamics via a paper by Jay Forrester "Understanding
the counterintuitive Behaviour of social systems". The paper was published
in 1971 and considers the social issues around inner city decay. His view
was based around the attraction of inner city areas and how the political
response of providing low-cost housing made matters worse not better!
There is a Systems Dynamics Society based at MIT which has continued
Forrester's work. Their web papers are worth an explore.

Recently, I have come across some work by Jac Vennix who has used System
Dynamics as a Group Model Building tool. This is an avenue I would like
to explore.
