Rodolfo,

Two ares to explore
Expectations of the governing by the governed.

Self expectations of the governing

A recent observation has ben that people in a dictatorship often see their
government as something to put up with and something separate from
themselves. People in a democracy often speak in terms of 'my' government
and see it as their own.

More people in the US have belief that if I work hard and can make my life
better. In other countries I have seen visions that include if I ma to be
better off my government must do it.

Neither of these two are pure and are actually mixed in the same culture.
It would be interesting to see a study of the differences in the visions
of the people in the two areas.

Good luck with your work.

Gene
