Long and short LO19356

I need your guidance, listers -

I'm in a post-masters course called "Issues of (Education)
Administration". In a couple of weeks, I have a major research project
due dealing with the topic "Organizational Oversight." I'm expected to
consider the following:

1. Working with others to develope/implement short- and long-term plans.

2. Keeping focused (not distracted).

3. Using various strategies for managing and monitoring multiple
long-range projects

My question to you is, can I frame these issues in terms for a LO. What
assumptions do I need to make clear at the beginning? And, what about
your "normal" institution (particularly schools) that are not really
learning organizations but are very much a hodgepodge (is that a word?) of
influences, practices, disciplines and what have you?

I really am unclear about how I should proceed. Should I take a "generic"
approach and just find a lot of references about this subject or should I
actually try to make sense of "oversight" in terms of LO?

I would actually like to learn something for this time and effort I'm
required to spend on this subject. (Is that heresy for an education
course, or what!)

Thanks for any insights . . . I need them ASAP.
