The TEAM LEARNING LAB (TLL), developed by Fred Simon and Nick Zeniuk
(formerly of Ford Motor Co.), is a self-managed learning program designed
to improve intact team (6-14 participants) performance and business
results through application of the methods and tools of Organizational
Learning -- Systems Thinking, Mental Models, Shared Vision and Personal
Mastery .
The Learning Circle is sponsoring the following TLL COACH CERTIFICATION
WORKSHOPS, which will certify consultants, corporate trainers, and/or team
members to deliver/facilitate The TEAM LEARNING LAB.
COACH CERTIFICATION WORKSHOPS:
NOVEMBER 4-6, 1998 (Wednesday-Friday), Sudbury, MA
DECEMBER 2-4, 1998 (Wednesday-Friday), Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX
Program Outline:
Day 1: Devoted to an understanding and identification of Module 1: Mental
Models, and Module 2: Systems Thinking. Topics include: understanding the
Five Disciplines and Mental Model tools that guide behavior and structural
inhibitors; learning how to use Vision and Creative Tension in developing
shared goals; developing Affinity clusters of key issues to map their
interrelationships; and practicing the new conversation of openness and
honesty around real-world issues.
Day 2: Working through Module 3: Shared Vision and Personal Mastery, and
Module 4: Using The Tools. Participants will explore: the systemic
interaction of these issues; through System Archetypes, learn how
complexity inhibits productive reasoning and action; and how to identify
points of systemic leverage.
Day 3: Purpose and role of TLL Coach; instructional format & design;
coaching skills; and implementation issues.
