Call for Participation

We invite you to attend a Knowledge Management Consortium (KMC) meeting on
October 15th in Chicago at the KMExpo'98 in McCormick Place

Topics:
- Applying Complex Adaptive Systems (CAS) Theory and Modeling to
Knowledge and Knowledge Management.
- Organization learning as the key to success for Human CAS.
- Knowledge Management as the key to successful human organization
fitness
-- managing a human organization's internal rules.
- Review and feedback on the KMC "Knowledge Management Enterprise Model"
based on CAS modeling and simulation.
- Emergent patterns and Archetypes
- Using self-organizing agent simulation to describe knowledge management
behavior
- Demonstration of the Java conversion of Santa Fe Institute's Swarm.

>From October 13 to the 15th, the Knowledge Management Consortium is
holding is first annual meeting at the KMExpo in Chicago. During the first
two days the KMC members will meet to continue the work on an enterprise
model for knowledge management. The 15th is open for all members and
non-members to attend.
