Replying to LO19924 --

>Name one to three things that are better when done slower or at an even

1. Making love
2. Raising children
3. Eating

On a less intensely personal note,
1. Building a better relationship with a colleague
2. Proofreading (assuming "slower" means "more carefully", which may
not be intended by the post)

It strikes me that the question is rather ambiguous, given the way our
(generally European-based) culture values rapidity.

The leader makes the team. This is pre-eminently the leadership quality --
the ability to organize all the forces there are in an enterprise and make
them serve a common purpose.
