While money isn't a "motivator", it certainly is and can be a
DE-MOTIVATOR. By Motivator, I mean, if I pay you % more money, you won't
do % more work. But if I withhold % money, you probably will be
embarrassed, hurt, or confused enough to NOT do as much work, maybe not by
the same %, but some. Therefore, money is a de-motivator.
