Because of the risky climate in South Africa, a few dozen of trees often
grow together in a clump which we call a bush. A bush is much smaller than
a forest. Upon entering such a bush and exploring it, its marvels catch
the eye. Many kinds of plants, insects and animals, even snakes, are to be
found in it. Many kinds live only in a bush, neither in the open nor in a
forest. They live in a bush because of the remarkable symbiosis in a bush.

A LO (Learning Organisation) reminds me of such a bush. Its members
provide a learning environment for each other's optimal personal mastery.
The symbiosis is accomplished by team learning. The shared vision is to
flourish despite a risky climate. The systems thinking is to keep an
ecological harmony within the bush and with its harsh environment.

With care and best wishes
