I have dozens of examples. Most revolve arounddeveloping a deeper
understanding of how departments within an organization work at cross
purposes, and prevent each other from reaching their goals. A great deal
of money can be saved by identifying and eliminating these problems. It
requires management participation at the highest levels to be successful
because it crosses functional boundaries.
