Patrick, Thank you for redirecting us. As you may recall, I posted the
original question as a favor to another pastor (on another DL). I
personally take the approach you suggest, however, our challenge as
pastors is to engage and motivate (in my case) 1000+ adults who are not
paid. Today's culture holds no strings of allegiance. The relationships
are quintessential to the success of each vision. Obviously I cannot
maintain or influence that many people and so there is a strategic
approach and circles of influence and communication.

I will refrain from saying more at this time, but I look forward again to
reading the responses of others to this thread and each subsequent idea.
